Vitaminwater (a popular drink sold with soft drinks) is currently involved in lawsuit brought on by a Washington (D.C.)-based consumer advocacy group, the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI). The lawsuit was filed claiming the manufactures of Vitaminwater, Coca-Cola, practiced "deceptive labeling and marketing for the soft drink, which included claims that the drink could reduce rise for eye disease, promote healthy joints and support 'optimal immune function.'"
